Brahmastra Release Date Postponed To 2021?

Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan is likely to not release on its planned date which is 4th December 2020. Read below to know more.

Amidst the coronavirus scare clouds hovering over the Bollywood industry, release schedules of many movies are suffering from major upheavals. It is doubtful that the much-delayed production of Karan Johar titled Brahmastra, which was all set for a final marathon schedule to make it for its release on December 4, 2020, may not make it in time.

Sources close to the filmmakers say that the outbreak of coronavirus has delayed and disrupted the release plan of Brahmastra. The sources say, “For now the final schedule involving Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt has been called off until further notice.”

Earlier this year, Alia had taken to her Instagram to announce the release date of Brahmastra as 4th December 2020, after several postponements. But now the reports state that the film would not be able to meet the deadline.

Talking about the star cast of Brahmastra, the Ayan Mukerji helmed film also features South sensation Nagarjun.

If Brahmastra gets postponed to 2021 from 2020, it would mark the second year in a row with no releases for Ranbir Kapoor. The actor was last seen in the 2018 film Sanju.

Sanju was a biopic on the life of Bollywood star Sanjay Datt and the film was highly appreciated by the masses. Ranbir was also praised for his credible acting in the film.
