Brahmastra: Despite receiving mixed reviews and becoming a target of the online boycott trend, Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahmastra has successfully managed to score decent figures at the box office. However, there’s still a segment of netizens who have been criticizing the film for various different reasons, opening up on the same Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt recently stated that it is the right of the audience to review and criticize her film.

On Thursday, the Brahmastra team visited Ahmedabad to promote their film, during their visit Brahmastra filmmaker Ayan Mukerji and actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor joined the fans during the screening of the film. After the screening, the trio was seen sharing their views on the box office success of their film.
During the interaction with the media, Alia Bhatt responded to a question about receiving negative comments about the film. Addressing the topic Alia said, “We have only one life and two options in it. We can either focus on the positive things or think about negativity.”
She added, “Whenever media asks a negative questions, we try to not divert ourselves into it. Criticism, reviews, opinions and feedback are the audience’s right. We just hope to come across more positive things rather than anything negative. Film release hone k baad aisa lag raha hani positive hi ja raha hain warna jo box office me aag lagayi hai woh hota nahi (Ever since Brahmastra has released, I think it has been positive, otherwise, how has it set the box office on fire),”
Responding to her reaction many social media users were seen praising the actress, a user wrote, “she is pregnant right now but her mindset is commendable. this is the same girl who faced insane trolling during her initial days but see now, the way she answers the media these days is not an easy task. only warmth and positivity. keep shining <3”.
Brahmastra Performance At The Box Office
Meanwhile, the film has opened up to impressive earnings at the box office, despite ongoing Boycott trends, Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahamstra opened with a remarkable collection of ₹31 crores (Hindi version) on its first day at the box office. Meanwhile, now the film has entered the 300cr club with its worldwide collection in one week. However, the film has been seeing a drop of 15-20% at the box office. Though the film has earned 300cr, however, it still can’t be declared as a hit since the film hasn’t crossed the making budget which is 400cr.
