Whether its star kids or youngsters from a non-filmy background, most parents are worried about it when it comes to taking up acting as a career. And as for our stars from Bollywood, the situation is no different. Because of the complexity of many Bollywood actors ‘ careers, parents were mostly not in favor of their children’s decision or simply had another plan for them.

Although now they are happy about their kids’ success, and here we have what career path was previously envisioned for their actor kids.

1.Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone started her Bollywood career with Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om. After many ups and downs, the actress has now built a niche for herself as one of the film industry’s most successful and popular actresses. Deepika is a powerhouse in the industry, with sparkling achievements like Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat and the recent one Chhapaak. Deepika had no pressure from her parents about the career they wanted her to do what she finds interesting but she said her father Prakash Padukone would be happy if she could play badminton like him.

2. Kartik Aaryan

The actor moved to Navi Mumbai to pursue a Biotechnology engineering degree. During his degree years, the actor used to give auditions and got the opportunity to play the lead role in the film Pyaar Ka Punchnama. This is where he began his success story. Kartik Aaryan spoke quite a few times about his love for acting, and how he decided to focus on his goals. He has an upcoming film, Love Aaj Kal, lined up for 2020. The romantic film on Valentine’s Day (February 14, 2020) will hit theatres.

3. Sara Ali Khan

Even if she is two films old, Sara Ali Khan has already become the sweetheart of the nation her cheerful and outspoken nature has won over people’s hearts even before the release of her debut movie Kedarnath. And later, as she received great reviews for her work in both Kedarnath and Simmba, she also showed she can deliver on film. Yet father Saif Ali Khan earlier was indifferent about his daughter Sara’s eventual career in Bollywood.

In an interview with a daily, he said “Why would she want that for herself? Look at where she studied. After having done that, why wouldn’t she want to live and work in New York, rather than do this? I am not looking down on acting, it’s just it is not the most stable profession. And everyone lives in constant fear. And there is no guarantee that despite doing your best, you will succeed. This is not the life, any parent would want for their children.”
