Bollywood Celebrities Who Defeated COVID-19 Infection

Many Bollywood celebrities this year were tested positive for the COVID-19 infection. Here’s a list of Bollywood celebs who defeated the COVID-19 infection.

The year 2020 wasn’t a blissful year and many things didn’t go well. Indeed the highlight of the year was the COVID-19 pandemic that paralyzed almost the entire world. Many people lost their lives after getting infected by this virus. On the other hand, many emerged victorious in the battle against COVID-19.

A few Bollywood celebrities also were tested positive for the COVID-19 infection. However, they defeated the coronavirus infection with proper medical care and precautions.

Kanika Kapoor

Singer Kanika Kapoor was the first Bollywood celebrity to have been tested positive for the COVID-19 infection. Her diagnosis came in the month of March when India was about to go into a lockdown state. She was immediately admitted to the hospital following her diagnosis. Kanika Kapoor recovered within weeks and even allegedly donated her plasma to the people battling with the virus.

Bachchan Family

The news of the Bachchan family being tested positive for the COVID-19 infection shook the nation. At first, legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan tested positive, and then his son Abhishek Bachchan. A few days later, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan was also tested positive for COVID-19.  The family was admitted to the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai where they recovered.

Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor

The IT couple of Bollywood, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor were tested positive for the COVID-19 infection a few months back. They informed their fans and followers about the same via social media. They both self-isolated themselves and recovered from the infection.

Varun Dhawan

A couple of weeks back, actor Varun Dhawan tested positive for the COVID-19 infection. He contracted the infection on the sets of Jug Jug Jeeyo. After getting diagnosed he flew back to Mumbai from Chandigarh. Varun self-isolated himself and shared the news via social media. 

Neetu Kapoor

Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor also contracted the COVID-19 infection on the sets of Jug Jug Jeeyo just like her co-star Varun Dhawan. She was flown back to Mumbai in an air ambulance arranged by her son Ranbir Kapoor. Neetu self-isolated herself and her health was monitored. She is now healthy and has resumed shooting.
