The entire nation is outraged with the horrifying gang rape case Of Hathras village and the cruelty of Uttar Pradesh police and government. Bollywood celebrities too are raising their voice against this incident and are demanding justice for the victim.
For the unaware, a 19-year-old Dalit girl named Manisha Valmiki was brutality raped by 4 men in Hathras village of Uttar Pradesh. She suffered several severe injuries and the local police refused to help the victim and her family. She was admitted to a hospital and after struggling for days, she lost her life two days ago. And Uttar Pradesh police forcibly cremated her body at 2:30 in the night without the consent of the family. This heinous crime and police brutality has left everyone in shock and tears.
Anushka Sharma took to her Instagram story and wrote, “The horrific story of Hathras gang rape has devastated me. I sincerely hope that strictest punishment is given to the barbaric men who have carried out such a horrific, inhuman act on a young life and caused her family inseparable pain.”
