This upcoming yet untitled film is primarily going to be a sci fi film that is going to be mounted on a huge scale and is the next magnum opus film of the director that has an ensemble star cast in form of Saaho fame Prabhas and Chhapaak fame versatile actress Deepika Padukone.
In July 2020, this year Nag Ashwin’s this eagerly awaited magnum opus sci fi film makers revealed that Deepika Padukone is joining the leading cast of the film which had sent the social media on hysteria that their blue eyed Mastaani of Bollywood is going to make her Tollywood debut with this movie which has definitely raised the curiosity and bar high as to how interesting this collaboration is going to be and now the critics, fans, film fraternity and audiences are high with excitement for the same.
This movie will be a pan Indian film, which will be shot in three languages of Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and is going to be a multilingual film. It is being claimed that this one is going to be a huge budget film and belongs primarily to the sci-fi genre and the film budget is going to be around 400 crores which makes this one of the most anticipated films of 2020.
Also yesterday Big B gave his fans the most sweetest and amazing early birthday gift in the form of official confirmation of him joining the Mahanati helmer Nag Ashwin’s this upcoming film which also stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in key leading roles in the film.
On the same day the Baahubali fame star Prabhas also shared his excitement and happiness by posting about the same on his Instagram handle where his post caption read, “Finally, a dream coming true … Sharing screen space with the legendary @amitabhbachchan Sir!?????? #NamaskaramBigB.”
The project has been presented by Vyjayanthi Movies and produced by C. Aswini Dutt along with being co-produced by Swapna and Priyanka Dutt. The film is being directed by Ashwin Nag.
According to a leading digital bollywood news website a source involved in the film’s development said, “Of course it is still just a fraction of what Prabhas is getting. Just why this should be so when Bachchan Saab is the most iconic superstar of the country, is beyond any comprehension. He isn’t there in the film for just a portion. Bachchan Saab and Prabhas will share screen space from the beginning to The End.”
In an interview with a leading digital entertainment website when the film’s director Nag Ashwin was asked bout Amitabh Bachchan’s entry in the film he said, “I feel lucky and blessed that Bachchan Sir has selected our film among the many choices he has. It is a full-length role, which we believe will do justice to the legend that he is.”
During the media interaction, producer Ashwini Dutt said, “Nag Ashwin’s story surprised me. He came up with a universally acceptable story for Baahubali and Saaho star Prabhas. The project requires hundreds of crores of budget. Only Prabhas has the ability to pull off such a massive project.”
As per the latest news media reports, the film which has been titled as #Prabhas21, is going to be a primarily sci fi genre film which is being made on a huge budget of around 400 crores and is one the big budget eagerly anticipated films which has been creating a lot of buzz since its announcement and inception. In this film the lead actors will be seen time travelling through specific time zones. The film is going to be filmed and shot extensively around the idyllic locales of Europe.
