Bhumi Pednekar Speaks About Her Journey Of Turning Into A Vegetarian

Nowadays many Bollywood celebs are taking a stand on the issues related to climate change and the environment. Recently, actress Bhumi Pednekar also made a change in her lifestyle and she’s proud of the same. Bhumi Pednekar recently opened up about her journey of turning into a vegetarian.

Speaking about her journey of turning into a vegetarian, Bhumi Pednekar said that she was never a heavy non-veg eater and it’s something that happened organically.

Explaining herself Pednekar said, “I was never heavy on non-vegetarian diet but I took a call during lockdown. It was actually something that happened organically. It’s been six months and I’m good, guilt free and I feel physically strong as well.”

The 31-year old actress also confesses that she wanted to make this choice for a long time now. However, she exclaims that some old habits are hard to break.

Bhumi further adds, “My journey with Climate Warrior taught me a lot of things and I just didn’t feel like eating meat anymore.”

After Bhumi Pednekar decided to turn into a vegetarian, actress Anushka Sharma welcomed her to the club. For the unknown, Anushka is a vegetarian and time and again speak up about climate change and the environment-related issues.

On the work front, Bhumi Pednekar last shared the screen space with Konkana Sen Sharma. The two starred in Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare. The film available on streaming giant Netflix and has garnered positive responses from the masses.

Up next, Bhumi Pednekar has a project titled Durgavati in her kitty. A few days ago the actress finished the dubbing for the film. The film will reportedly hit the big screen on December 11, 2020.

The makers haven’t finalised the date due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic.

Bhumi Pednekar had an amazing 2019 with films like Sonchiriya and Pati Patni Aur Woh. Hence, audiences are waiting for more of her movies.
