Bhumi Pednekar is currently garnering appreciation for her groundbreaking role in the latest Hindi film ‘Badhaai Do’. The young actress plays a lesbian who gets into a lavender marriage. Actress Chum Darang, a new talent in the industry, is playing Bhumi’s girlfriend in the film. After the film’s release, Bhumi shared a few cosy pictures with Chum Darang on social media.
The pictures were shared on the occasion of Valentine’s Day to put out a strong message. Normalising all kinds of love, Bhumi wrote in the caption, “Raj Aur Simran, Heer Aur Ranjha, Sumi Aur Rhimjhim, Shardul Aur Guru, Happy Valentines Day !”
The two actresses can be seen comfortable in each other’s company as they pose for some no-filter selfies.
Badhaai Do was released in theatres on 11 Feb. It stars Bhumi Pednekar, Rajkummar Rao and Chum Darang in the leading roles. The film received positive reviews from critics and fans.
