Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan and directed by Anees Bazmee, saw an impressive opening weekend at the box office, raking in Rs 106 crore over Diwali. However, the ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ box office performance took a notable dip as the weekdays began, with collections slowing significantly by Day 5.
The film opened strong, earning Rs 35.5 crore on Friday and increasing to Rs 37 crore on Saturday, followed by Rs 33.5 crore on Sunday. This initial momentum took the movie to Rs 106 crore by the end of the weekend. However according to industry tracker Sacnilk, Monday’s box office collections dropped sharply by 46.27% bringing in just Rs 18 crore. Tuesday saw a further decline with collections dropping another 27.78% to Rs 13 crore, which brought the total to Rs 137 crore domestically as of Day 5.
Globally, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has amassed Rs 187.75 crore with international collections contributing Rs 39 crore to the total. In India, the film’s gross collections have reached Rs 148.75 crore. Although this is a strong showing, the film has faced competition from Singham Again, which also released over the Diwali holiday and has already surpassed the Rs 200 crore mark globally, making it a formidable rival.

While Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has delivered a robust performance, it now sets its sights on the lifetime worldwide box office collection of its predecessor, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which grossed Rs 265.5 crore globally.
In this latest installment, Kartik Aaryan’s character Rooh Baba, encounters two ghosts in a haunted mansion in Kolkata with each claiming to be the infamous Manjulika, adding suspense and humor.
