Bholaa Teaser: Ajay Devgn Returns As A Father On The Look Out For His Daughter

Devgn's fourth directorial venture will see him in titular role along with Tabu and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles.

Bholaa Teaser Out: After a blockbuster Drishyam 2, Ajay Devgn is now ready to deliver one more hit with Bholaa which is an official remake of Karthi starrer Tamil action thriller Kaithi (2019).
The makers have dropped the second teaser of the film just a few minutes ago and it’s already trending on social media.

The 1 minute 51 seconds long trailer has a perfect blend of breathtaking action and emotion. The teaser introduces Ajay as a father who is going to meet his 10 year old daughter for the first time. But then we are suddenly bombarded with some extravagant action set pieces where bikes fly in air, men get pierced with a knife and Ajay Devgn wields Trishul.

The teaser promises non stop breathtaking action along with some heart wrenching emotional scenes. If one has to find some drawback in the teaser, then it’s a tacky VFX. The VFX we see in the teaser doesn’t match the standards set by films like RRR, Brahmastra.

We also see Tabu, Deepak Dobariyal, Sanjay Mishra in the teaser. It seems Tabu is playing a role of a cop which was played by male actor in the original Tamil flick. Amala Paul who has a guest appearance in the film, also makes a blink and miss appearance in the teaser. Although makers have not revealed anything about her character yet, but if we have to make a calculated guess, she seems to be playing Ajay’s wife’s role. For the unversed, wife’s character was not part of the original Tamil flick, and it’s a complete new addition from Bholaa makers.

Bholaa is Ajay Devgn’s fourth directorial venture after Shivaay (2016), Runaway 34 (2022). Interestingly, in his second directorial venture Shivaay (2016), the actor played a father who is on a look out for his daughter who gets kidnapped and in this film, he will be again seen in a role of a father who once again put his life on the line to finally meet his 10 years old daughter for the first time.

Bholaa is set to arrive in cinemas on 30 March 2023.
