Actress Rashmi Rajput made her acting debut with the MX player show Bhaukaal Season 1. She was then seen playing a pivotal character in the Marathi movie Aasud. For a very long time, she has also been a popular face on YouTube as she is seen in the videos of one of the biggest creators of India i.e. BEYOUNICK. And now, she is playing the character of Pooja Sikara in the MX player show Bhaukaal Season 2.
Talking about her struggles in the initial days, she says, “When you start your journey you don’t know where to go and whom to approach and where to go for an audition. But with time you get to learn things and make some contacts. I used to stay in Thane in my initial days and the biggest struggle was I had to travel so much, coming to the city from Thane was an ordeal. If someone used to call me for any meetings on the same day in half an hour then I couldn’t reach the place because of the distance. And I have missed out on many meetings and projects because of the travelling part. So every single person be it an outsider or a Mumbaikar has its fair share of struggles in this industry.”
Further on being asked if she believes luck plays an important part in an actor’s life, she says, “Luck does play an important role in an actor’s life. There are thousands of people who give auditions for a particular role and there may be a hundred who are a perfect fit out of them and then comes the way how your luck favors you. At the end everyone works hard to get a role, but then your fate decides if you are gonna get it or not.”
Lastly on being asked about the feedback for the new season of Bhaukaal she says, “I have been receiving amazing feedback for the show. The audience is really liking my character and I love every part of the same. I just hope the audience keeps loving and showering their support.”
Bhaukaal Season 2 is a crime thriller series starring Mohit Raina, Siddhant Kapoor, Rashmi Rajput and Bidita Bag.
