Bhatt family has shared a great bond with Sanjay Dutt. They have known each other for decades. They have worked together and stood by each other through thick and thin. Sanjay Dutt was recently diagnosed with a serious illness and he is currently receiving treatment for the same.
Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt who are very close to Sanjay Dutt are shattered with this news. As per a leading daily, a source close to Bhatt family said, “Bhatt Saab has been close to Sanjay Dutt for close to 30 years. They’ve done films like Sadak, Naam and Kubzaa together. Bhatt Saab was right there next to Dutt through his trial and incarceration for alleged terror activities. Bhatt Saab was shattered when he heard of Sanjay’s illness.”
He further added, “The sad part is, because of the controversies currently around Bhatt Saab and his association with Rhea Chakraborty, he is unable to hold Sanjay Dutt’s hands when he needs him the most.”

Pooja Bhatt, who starred opposite Sanjay Dutt in film Sadak and its sequel said, “What do you want me to say? May I please be permitted to process this tragedy internally?”
Sadak is a romantic thriller Hindi film released in 1991. It stars Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt. The film was directed by Mahesh Bhatt and it became the highest-grossing Hindi movies of 1991.
The latest collaboration of the Bhatt family and Sanjay Dutt was recently released film Sadak 2. The much talked about film received the worst reviews and ratings from critics and audience. It also bombed due to the ongoing case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
