Delhi Crime S2 to Wednesday: These OTT web series must be watched with your family to spend your weekend entertainingly.

The highly anticipated OTT releases of 2022 include Jitendra Kumar’s Panchayat 2, Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday, and many other amazing web series that debuted last year. The year is about to come to a conclusion, and we can’t forget how many binge-worthy shows were released. The OTT broke new ground by introducing content that matters and matches the preferences of the audience. Digital media puts more emphasis on producing entertaining and educational material than using big names and formulaic plots. Here is the list of series you must watch if you missed them.

1) Stranger Things S4

The 2016-launched series has become a benchmark with each succeeding season, and the fourth season raised the bar even further. According to a fascinating plot summary provided by Netflix, “Darkness is back in Hawkins just in time for spring break, igniting fresh terror, troubling memories, and an alarming new threat.”

2) Panchayat 2

Panchayat’s first season, which starred Jitendra Kumar, attracted viewers. In this online series, we saw him once more as he tried to combine his professional and personal lives and alter his relationship with the residents of the hamlet.

3) Wednesday

You can’t miss it when it’s about the widely-discussed Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday. Wednesday Adams gained a sizable following thanks to her aggressive avatar, poignant words, and lethal techniques. The show garnered so much interest that it was among the most watched programmes in 2022.

4)  Delhi Crime S2

The audience was opened-minded by DCP Vartika resuming her role and looking into the intricate case of the Kacha Baniyan gang.

5) Rocket Boys

Rocket Boys generated a lot of buzz on OTT and got a lot of love and praise from the audience for this biographical drama. This web series chronicles the lives of two outstanding Indian scientists, Drs. Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai, while illuminating an important era in our nation’s history.

6) The Lord of Rings: The Rings of Power

The prequels and sequels offered another excellent Amazon Prime Video release. The events in JRR Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings were the inspiration for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. While some of the newcomers surprise you, you do recognise some familiar faces. It’s interesting to see how the experienced and new faces work together to combat the threat to Middle Earth.
