Childhood friends Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor have always shared fun stories from their younger days but this one takes the cake! Varun Dhawan recently opened up about the time when Shraddha romantically proposed to him as kids and what happened afterward will leave you shocked. Speaking with Shubhankar Mishra during a podcast, Varun Dhawan reveals how an innocent rejection led to him being beaten by three boys at a party – an incident that’s as hilarious as it is surprising.
Shraddha had previously shared how she proposed to Varun during a childhood adventure on a mountain peak. In this interview, Varun elaborated on what happened next. “We were just 8 years old! At that age, which boy even likes girls at that age?” Varun laughed as he recalled the moment.
He went on to share another memory from Shraddha’s 10th birthday. “I clearly remember she wore a frock that day and invited me to her party. There were three or four boys who were all in love with her. They came up to me and asked, ‘Why don’t you like Shraddha?’ I told them I was there to win the dance competition, and not interested in girls.” But these boys had other plans. “They said, ‘No, you have to like her,’ and started fighting with me. Shraddha got me beaten up by them because I didn’t say yes to her!” Varun Dhawan reveals. However, the story didn’t end there – Varun fought back and even won the dance competition that day!
