Bigg Boss 18 winner Karanveer Mehra is currently at the ninth cloud. Following the victory at Khatron Ke Khiladi S13, Mehra also brought the trophy home for the BB 18, defeating Rajat Dalal and Vivian Dsena in the race of Top 3. The winner is holding multiple interactions with diffeent outlets, and in one such conversation, Karanveer Mehra opened up on having an adorable bond with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. He revealed that he felt bad for not being with Sushant, at his tough time, recalling all the memories they shared together.
Karanveer Mehra Reflects On His Friendship With Sushant Singh Rajput
In a latest interview, Karanveer Mehra showered praises at SSR, claiming that he was one of the most talented actors of Bollywood, during that time. He said that Sushant was a rising star, and had secured his spot in the Top 5 bollywood stars. “There was so much that he could have given. We would have loved to see his performances”, Karanveer added.
Talking further, the BB 18 winner revealed that SSR always used to help him during the stressful phases of his life. He quoted, “Sushant helped me to get over every low moment of my life. He had always encouraged me, and helped me get through the issues of my life with utmost encouragement.” Karanveer used to be at his lowest, with thoughts of giving up but SSR made it possible for him to stand again with confidence.
Regrets Not Being There For SSR When He Needed It The Most
Mehra expressed regrets for not being available at Sushant’s difficult time. He referred to SSR’s depressed phase, after which he was reported of committing suicide. He said, “Hume ilm bhi nahi tha us baat ka aur wo mujhe har low moment se bahar nikala hai”. Falling short of words, Karanveer said that Sushant was a person of heart, whose journey truly inspired KV alot. Recalling the memories, he mentions, “Out of 70,000 pictures in my phone, more than 30,000 of the clicks are with Sushant.
Back in 2020, on June 14th, actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging in his own apartment in Mumbai. The actor who was popularly known for his films like Chhichhore, M.S. Dhoni, Raabta and more was reportedly addressed to be depressed for quite sometime before he hanged himself to death. Meanwhile, Karanveer Mehra and Sushant Singh Rajput had been friends in Sushant’s early stages of career. Both the actors who began their career from television industry were seen in the film Badmaashiyan together, after which their bond grew stronger.
