Bala featuring Ayushman Khurrana is making headlines due to another controversy after composer Dr Zeus slammed them with copyright violation. He stated that the Bala makers used his song Don’t Be Shy and didn't give him proper credits for the same

Ayushmann Khurrana‘s film Bala has being involved in a lot of controversies ever since its trailer of the film dropped. Bala, that tells the story of a man who suffers premature balding, got involved in a legal mess after Sunny Singh’s Ujda Chaman, accused them of copyright violation. Ujda Chaman that happens to be the official remake of Ordu Motteya Kathe and producer Abhishek Pathak stated that they acquired official remake rights of the movie. Bala makers have now tried to manoeuvre the screenplay by switching a few things.

And while the Bala team is still dealing with this legal issue, the movie found it’s way in another legal soup and this time it is for their recently released song ‘Don’t Be Shy’. Music composer-singer Dr. Zeus took to Twitter and slammed the makers of using his song ‘Don’t Be Shy’ as they failed to give him due credit. Bala just dropped the first track of the movie on Friday, which is a remixed version of Dr. Zeus popular track. The remix version is sung by Badshah and Shalmali Kholgade, while music director duo Sachin-Jigar provided with the music to the remix version.

Dr. Zeus took to Twitter and questioned Badshah and Sachin Jigar about the same. He wrote,  “@sonymusicindia @MaddockFilms @Its_Badshah @SonyMusicUK @SachinJigarLive wen did u compose don’t b shy & kangna.. more to the point how dare u guys b riding off ma old hits & fuckin them up??? Ya need to get original My lawyers will b in touch.”

But soon Badshah took to Twitter and clarified his stance on the controversy and revealed that he took the song only after he was assured that they had the required rights of the song. He wrote, “I am aware of the situation around ‘Dont be shy’. I want to start by saying that I love and respect @drzeusworld paaji immensely and he knows it. He has the right to get angry with me because he’s my senior and I’ve learned a lot from him. And he is the last person I would want to go through something like this. I got on the song, which has been recreated by my dear friends Sachin Jigar, only after making sure we had the necessary rights. But still if there’s any misunderstanding, I’ll make sure it gets cleared asap. I support Zeus Paaji.”
