10-year-old Sahdev Dirdo, who rose to fame with his viral video ‘Bachpan Ka Pyaar’ has been severely injured in a road accident. The incident took place yesterday at 6:30 PM in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district. Sahdev Dirdo, who was not wearing a helmet, has sustained injuries to his head, while the rider has some minor bruises.
He was rushed to the district hospital and was shifted to Jagdalpur Medical College hospital after preliminary treatment.
Sahdev became an internet sensation earlier this year after a video of him singing ‘Bachpan ka Pyaar‘ in school uniform went viral. The video was reportedly shot in 2019 inside his classroom by his school teacher. As the video went viral, rapper and singer Badshah reached out to him and released a song titled ‘Bachpan Ka Pyaar’ featuring the little boy.
Soon after the accident, Badshah took to his social media and informed, “Sahdev Dirdo had an accident, injuries on his head, unconscious on his way to the hospital which is a 100 kms away. In touch with his family and friends. I am there for him. Need your prayers.”
Today, he gave an update on his health as he wrote, “Sahdev is better now and has regained consciousness. Will go to Raipur to see a good neurosurgeon. Thank you for your prayers.”
