B-town Mourned Unfortunate Demise Of KK; R Madhavan Says “I Lost My Voice”

B-town actors like R Madhavan, Ajay Devgan, Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza, and many more mourned the sad demise of KK.

One of the most popular singers in Bollywood, KK walked to a heavenly abode last night. He performed his last concert in Kolkata at the Nazrul Mancha auditorium in Kolkata. Reportedly Krishnakumar Kunnath sang ‘Hum Rahe Ya Na Rahe Kal’ as his last song at the gig. He started his career with the same song in 1999 and unfortunately left everyone on the same stage at the age of 53. ‘Yaad aayenge ye Pal’ (referring to Era of KK) even after he is gone. B-town actors like R Madhavan, Ajay Devgan, Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza, and many more mourned the sad demise of KK.

Superstar Ajay Devgan penned a heartfelt note, “It seems so ominous. The news of KK’s death that too right after live performance is terrible. He sang for films I was associated with, so his loss seems that much more personal. RIP #KrishnakumarKunnath. Prayers & condolences to his family”

Paying homage to the singer filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted, “Heartbreaking news on the sudden passing away of such an incredible talent…. RIP KK… the entertainment world has lost a true artist today….Om Shanti”

KK’s collaboration with Emraan Hashmi was famous but back in time the legendary singer gave voice to R Madhavan as well. He sang the popular song “Sach Keh Raha Hai Deewana” for the movie “Rehna Hai Tere Dil Me.” R Madhavan popularly known as Maddy reacted to the news with an upset note: “I lost my voice today.”

Actor and social worker Dia Mirza, who is also a part of RHTDM’s famous track “Sach Keh Raha Hai Deewana”, which is still hummed and sung by many, wrote: “This feels so personal KK…you always filled my heart with love…The nicest human being and the most soulful voice. You live in our hearts forever ..Om Shanti #RIPKK”

Meanwhile, other actors took up to Instagram stories to share their grief for the great loss. Vicky Kaushal shared a picture of the singer in his story and wrote: “Your magical voice will live on forever. Thank you for your evergreen songs.” Expressing sorrow Ranveer Singh posted a black and white picture of the singer on his Instagram story leaving a broken heart emoji.

The versatile singer and Bollywood’s melodious voice made his playback debut with Tadap Tadap for the movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. He has delivered popular hits like Zindagi Do Pal Ki (Kite), Dil Ibadat (Tum Mile), Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai (Woh Lamhe), O Meri Jaan (Life In A… Metro), Dus Bahane (Dus), Beete Lamhein (The Train), Ankhon Mein Teri (Om Shanti Om), Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai (Gangster).
