The actor is feeling very humble and glad since he is currently staying with his family in his hometown Chandigarh for the first time in so many years, which has surely made his fans happy to witness that their favorite actor Ayushmann’s emotional gratitude to Chandigarh is heartwarming.

This upcoming film of Ayushmann titled “Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui” is going to be directed by the ace director Abhishek Kapoor who is best known for giving us films like Kai Po Che (2013) and Kedarnath (2018) which will have the War (2019) actress Vaani Kapoor opposite him as the female lead in the movie.
In this film it is said to be Ayushmann’s most challenging and out of the box character till date as he will be seen portraying the role of a cross functional athlete in the movie which is going to primarily be a progressive love story that will be weaved within a sports genre film. He has started his preparation and intense physical training to completely get into the skin of his character of an athlete.
He is leaving no stones unturned since this is really the first time ever that the actor is getting to work in a sports based film which is a whole new kind of feeling and experience for him as an actor.
When during a recent interview with the actor when questioned about his experience of shooting in his hometown, he said, “It is remarkable that this will be the first time I’m shooting in Chandigarh!”.
It is true fact that this is the first time ever that the actor is thrilled to be shooting in his hometown which has given him unconditional love and support always and also always adored him so much that there is a big hand of everyone in catapulting him to the prime level of stardom today.
Ayushmann further explaining the same said, “It is remarkable that this will be the first time I’m shooting in Chandigarh! The process is going to be exceedingly special and I’m going to soak in every second of this experience. Chandigarh is the city that gave me the wind beneath my wings to chase my passion to be an actor. This city and the remarkable people of Chandigarh have given me so much love and confidence right from my school days when I started doing theatre. The seed of me becoming an actor was planted here and I couldn’t be more excited to shoot my next here”.
Lauding his hometown for always standing by him in his toughest times till now, he also said, “Even when I became an actor, this city has constantly showered me with their overwhelming love. I’m indebted to my home town and all the people who have always supported me. Actors are nothing without the love of audience’s and I can confidently say that the Chandigarh people have always been my biggest supporters”.
Ayushmann has achieved a very stellar feat by delivering almost 8 back to back hit films which has not been accomplished by any A lister actor till now.
Showering love on the people of his hometown, Ayushmann said, “The people of this city stood behind me like a rock and have always been a motivational force. They have cheered the loudest and I can’t thank them enough! So, shooting in Chandigarh is like life coming to a full circle”.
