Since the time timeless Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit walked out of this film project, the film has been in a hanging state of suspension and now whilst Tahira is searching for an apt actress to play the role in place of Madhuri Dixit who apparently wanted a huge amount as remuneration, the latest news here is that Ayushmann turns producer with Tahira’s first film SharmaJi Ki Beti.

Sources close to the bonafide ace star have informed a leading Indian digital entertainment website that Ayushmann has stepped in as the film’s producer. Source was quoted saying, “He has in any case plans to turn producer for his own films. So why not produce his wife’s film?”.

This is indeed true that when Ayushmann’s wife Tahira’s first film SharmaJi Ki Beti didn’t have any producer to produce the film, it was her husband Ayushmann who finally has stepped forward and will be helming the film production as the producer by putting his celebrity status to a good use.

Tahira was all set and ready to start shooting her film as the director when she fell ill with cancer and then later after her inspiring and motivating battle with the deadly disease, she was yet again ready to start shooting for her film again but then at that moment her original film producers also backed out leaving the film project in limbo and lurched status.

This is when Ayushmann came into the picture as a producer. The source also informed, “He spoke to a couple of his trusted producers, not with the intention of pressurising them  into producing his wife’s script but just to urge them to look at her script. After going through the script and loving it, one of Ayushmann’s producers happily stepped  into to produce SharmaJi Ki Beti”.
