Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha has confirmed that he will be once again collaborating with actor Ayushmann Khurrana for his upcoming venture. The actor-director duo had before joined hands for a hard-hitting political drama titled Article 15 and the film was hailed by the masses.
While Anubhav Sinha confirmed his second collaboration with versatile actor Ayushmann Khurrana, he refused to give away more information on the content of the proposed film. However, according to an insider the Sinha – Khurrana’s upcoming venture will more intense than the previous one, it will also be hard-hitting and more politically relevant. The insider revealed, “Anubhav Sinha plans to go into a contemporary subject about present-day politics which normally other filmmakers would shy away from. But then Anubhav has lost his fear of flying. He is willing to go anywhere with his cinema.”
It will be interesting to see how Ayushmann Khurrana who is known for nailing every role with perfection will pull off this character in Sinha’s next venture. The actor has recently had two back-to-back disappointments- Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, and Gulabo Sitabo, and hence he will be trying to bounce back in the game with a hit.
Ayushmann and Sinha’s Article 15 is considered among the best films made in the past few years, and so now the fans are eagerly waiting for another out of the box movie.
On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana is reportedly working on Chhoti Si Baat remake helmed by Mudassar Aziz. Reports also claim that Ayushmann will also be seen in Badhaai Ho 2, while some sources suggest that the actor has been replaced by Rajkummar Rao for the sequel of the 2018 Box Office hit.
Speaking of Anubhav Sinha, he recently directed the critically acclaimed Thappad starring Taapsee Pannu.
