Ayesha Jhulka Revealed She Regretted Rejecting Mani Ratnam’s Roja

In a recent interview off late, legendary Bollywood star Ayesha Jhulka opens up on how she regretted rejecting Mani Ratnam's Roja and much more.

The legendary B town actress best known for films like Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar, Khilaadi, Dalaal, Maasoom and so on had a long and distinguished career in Bollywood industry. She debuted in B town in 1991 and also ended up winning hearts of audiences and people with her performances. In a recently conducted interview, Ayesha Jhulka revealed she regretted rejecting Mani Ratnam’s Roja.

Opening up in details about the career choices she made which included rejecting films, Ayesha Jhulka revealed she regretted rejecting Mani Ratnam’s Roja.

Spilling the beans about the films she had rejected in the 90’s when her career was at its peak which she confessed about feeling bad for not doing then in this interview, Ayesha Jhulka revealed she regretted rejecting Mani Ratnam’s Roja.

In her recent interview with a leading digital entertainment portal, Ayesha Jhulka revealed about many films which she couldn’t do and speaking up in more depth on same, she said, “There were a lot of films that I couldn’t do. I couldn’t do Mani Ratnam’s ‘Roja’ due to date issues and I regretted it”.

Ayesha also clarified about how she couldn’t do Mani Ratnam’s Roja due to her date issues which starred the South superstar Arvind Swami and Madhoo in leading roles and she regretted not doing this film till date.

Ayesha furthermore also added, “Then there was a Rama Naidu film, ‘Prem Qaidi’ which I had to reject because I was supposed to be introduced in a bikini in the film”. She also opened about straightaway rejecting the film Prem Qaidi as it had a bikini scene wherein she was going to be introduced in the bikini.

She also spoke about her Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar co-star Aamir Khan and telling more about him, Ayesha quipped that Aamir is one such “actor who always has his head on his shoulders” and explained about how hard he works for getting into the character completely. Ayesha also spilled beans about how her character in Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar was entirely just her since she was like this when younger.
