Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha Box Office Verdict: Film “Hit Or Flop”?

BoxOffice: Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the eagerly anticipated film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha hit theaters on August 2. Despite the hype, it has received lukewarm reviews and a lackluster box office debut. Now that the film has completed its first week in theaters, it’s time to determine whether the film is a box office success or failure.

Starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu in lead roles, the Bollywood romantic drama, “Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha” made a box office opening worth a mere ₹ 1.85 Cr. The opening day collections of the film were extremely disappointing considering the buzz around the film. After an underwhelming opening, the film further failed to register significant growth during the weekend.

As per Sacnilk, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha earned ₹ 2.15 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 2.75 Cr on Sunday. After seeing no decent growth during the weekend, the film witnessed a continuous drop during the weekdays. It earned ₹ 1 Cr on Monday, ₹ 0.95 Cr on Tuesday, ₹ 0.75 Cr on Wednesday, and ₹ 0.60 Cr on Thursday. The first-week box office collection of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha now stands at a total ₹ 10.05 Cr.

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha Hit Or Flop?

Made on a budget of a staggering Rs 100Cr, Ajay Devgn’s film, “Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha” has only managed to cross the 10cr mark by the end of its first week at the box office (7 days). Despite the buzz, the film has only crossed the 10cr in 7 days and is far from recovering its production cost/budget. Considering its performance the scope of growth for the film is also low. With that being said, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha can easily be deemed as a box office “disaster”.
