The two were earlier reported to tie the knot this year, while as per the recent reports it is now believed that the Hero actress will tie the knot with her long-term boyfriend and cricketer KL Rahul this year at her father, Suniel Shetty’s bungalow in Khandala.

If a report of Pinkvilla is to be believed, the alleged couple Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul will soon tie the knot. At the same time, it is reported that the two will be holding their wedding at Suniel Shetty’s bungalow Jahaan in Khandala, and the wedding is expected to be much of a “starry affair”. Meanwhile, the date for their wedding will be fixed depending upon their work schedules.

During a conversation with Instant Bollywood, veteran actor Suniel Shetty was asked if there was some kind of wedding preparation happening at this moment, reacting to the question Suniel Shetty said, “I think Jaise hi bachhe decide karenge. Rahul ke schedules hai. Abhi Aisa Cup hai, World Cup hai, South African tour hai, Australia tour hai. Jab bachho ko break milega tab shaadi hogi. Ek din me shaadi nahi ho sakti na? (I think whenever the kids will decide. Rahul currently has a busy schedule which includes Asia Cup, World Cup, South African tour, and Australia tour. When kids will get a break from work, marriage will happen. You can’t get married in a day, right?)”.

Athiya and KL Rahul recently jetted off to Germany last month for the medical treatment of the cricketer. Apparently, the cricketer was taken out of India’s tour of England, after the latter sustained a groin injury soon after which he went down through surgery in Germany while his girlfriend Athiya was also seen accompanying the cricketer during the time.
Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty allegedly started dating cricketer KL Rahul about three years ago. It is said that they both met via a common friend and they hit it off. The duo then started seeing each other more often and fell in love. However, despite being public figures, the duo managed to keep their relationship away from the limelight.
