Singer Kanika Kapoor Tested Positive For COVID-19?

Reports stated that Kanika Kapoor has been tested positive for COVID-19. And now even Kanika Kapoor has confirmed the same.

Sources say that Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor, who recently canceled her Holi 2020 show in Dubai due to the Coronavirus pandemic, has been tested positive for COVID-19.

Industry sources say that after her return from London, she was rushed to a Lucknow hospital. The' Babydoll ' singer has since undergone a self-quarantine and is now living in her home town in a gated community until she feels better.

While some sources also say that she had hidden her travel history from the authorities and also after her return from London she stayed in a 5-star hotel in Lucknow and also attended a party with over 100 plus people present.

Kanika Kapoor took to her social media account to let her fans know that she has been tested positive of COVID-19 and her along with her family is under self-confinement according to the advice of medical authorities.

Hello everyone, For the past 4 days I have had signs of flu, I got myself tested and it came positive for Covid-19. My family and I are in complete quarantine now and following medical advice on how to move forward. Contact mapping of people I have been in touch with is underway aswell. I was scanned at the airport as per normal procedure 10days ago when I came back home, the symptoms have developed only 4 days ago. At this stage I would like to urge you all to practice self isolation and get tested if you have the signs. I am feeling ok, like a normal flu and a mild fever, however we need to be sensible citizens at this time and think of all around us. Actors including Kartik Aaryan, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, and Ayushmann Khurrana took to their Twitter to alert their fans about social distancing and urged everyone to stay indoors.

Kapoor was set to perform with DJ Nucleya on March 13 for Holi 2020 event in Dubai. The global health scare has interrupted music concerts, and temporarily the Bollywood shoots are also halted.
