Shah Rukh Khan has been on a break for a year now after his movie Zero failed to live up to the audience's expectation. He decided to take a break to rethink his plan. And though fans are waiting to hear any news from him about his new films he is yet to announce his new project. But on his birthday he revealed he is currently in talks for two to three films, which he liked.

The three films that caught SRK's attention are - South director Atlee's next which is titled as  Atlee. The director and SRK met during a cricket match in Chennai and he was also seen attending SRK's Diwali bash. He will also be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's next directorial and Ali Abbas Zafar's next action saga. A source gave more insight into his plan for next year. The source revealed, "It seems that Shah Rukh has loved all the three scripts and will do all of them, one by one. Raju has already locked SRK's dates from April 2020 for his movie and that's happening right away. If all goes well, he might even have a big release next year itself."

Shah Rukh Khan has always been the first choice for a few Hirani's films like Munnabhai and 3 idiots, but that never happened but have always discussed to associate on a film together. Not only that, but Shah Rukh also has a small cameo in Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra. The first chapter of the film is due to release in 2020. Talking about his cameo, the source further stated, "It's almost like a small role which impacts the whole story and takes it ahead."
