Actor Ranveer Singh who is currently busy with the promotions of his much-awaited film 83’, had announced last year about his upcoming project titled, Jayeshbhai Jordaar. In this film, Ranveer will essay the role of a common man with extraordinary dreams.

In the first-look poster of the movie that Ranveer posted on his Instagram, the actor looked simple yet eye-catchy. Donned in an orange polka dot polo-neck T-shirt with a pair of jeans, and hair combed to one side, Ranveer nails the look of an ordinary man instead of being a total contrast of it in his real life.

Talking about Jayeshbhai Jordaar, the news is that Ratna Pathak Shah has been roped in to play Ranveer’s mother in the film. With director Divyang Thakkar being a student of Ratna Pathak during his theatre days, he was eager to cast her in his movie.

Confirming her role Ratna said, Some months ago, a young actor came to me with a script. Actors making movies can be tricky, so I was cautious as I began reading, but was thoroughly entertained by the end of the script. The story not only had a message but also had a heart. It talks about issues close to my heart.”

When Ranveer was asked about the movie he called it a miracle script and also said that Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a film with a big heart.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar will feature Arjun Reddy actress Shalini Pandey as the main lead opposite Ranveer Singh. The movie also stars Boman Irani who will essay Ranveer’s on-screen father.

The movie is slated to release in 2020.
