The sudden demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has been like an eye-opener for the people in the entertainment industry. The Kai Po Che actor died of suicide on June 14, 2020, sending shockwaves across the nation. His dead body was found at his residence in Mumbai, where it was revealed that Sushant was battling depression for the past few months and it was also discovered that he wasn’t taking his medicines.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police is investigating the case and has recorded the statements of people close to Sushant including his rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. However, the police is now suspecting that the actor’s tweets might have been deleted and they are planning to send a letter to Twitter to get to the bottom of the matter.

Since there have been no tweets on Sushant’s tweeter handle from December 27, 2019, the police is finding it hard to believe that he was inactive on this social media platform. If the police send the letter, they will ask Twitter to send the details of the activities in the past six months to carry forward the on-going investigation.

Sushant taking this drastic step to end his life was sudden and he did not leave any suicide note by his side. It has made everything more complicated and no one knows what triggered him to take this step.

The Chhichhore actor’s death has also led to a heated debate on the internet pointing towards nepotism and Bollywood camps existing in the industry. Reports also claim that Sushant lost 7 films in the span of six months which might have led him to take his own life.

The late actor’s last rites were performed in Mumbai on June 15, 2020. His ashes have also been immersed in the Ganges river by his family members.
