Kanika Kapoor has tested coronavirus positive for the fifth time now. She is currently admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow.
Dr. RK Dhiman, Director of the institute said that her condition is stable and there is nothing to worry about. He said, "Kanika is doing well and she is also taking food on time."
Even the singer herself said in her latest Instagram post that she is not in ICU and wishes to go home soon. She shared an emotional quote on Instagram with a message in the caption. The quote read, “Life teaches us to make good use of time, while time teaches us the value of life.”
In the caption, she wrote, “Going off to bed. Sending you all loving vibes. Stay safe you guys. Thank you for your concern but I am not in the ICU. I am fine. I hope my next test is negative. Waiting to go home to my kids and family...miss them!”
The hospital authorities have said that her treatment will continue till the time she tests negative for at least two times in a row.
Kanika had returned from London to Mumbai on March 9 and then traveled to Lucknow and Kanpur. On March 20, she was hospitalized after she showed symptoms of coronavirus. The singer faced much backlash for escaping mandatory quarantine after her travel history from abroad.
