Alia Bhatt has only excelled further in her career post her debut in Student Of The Year in 2012. She has turned out to be a graceful actor and has won the hearts of the audience with her unconventional choices of roles in movies like Raazi, Highway, Gully Boy, and many more.

She was hailed by the audience the portrayal of Safeena in the movie Gully Boy. Alia said that it was mainly due to the infectious spirit of Safeena which made the shooting of Gully Boy more fun.

Alia has seen more success than failure in her span of 8 years of being in Bollywood but that doesn’t mean her career didn’t see a downside.

After the failure of Karan Johar’s multi-starrer Kalank at the Box Office, the movie received a lot of criticism from everyone. Alia Bhatt too being a part of Kalank received dozens of mixed reviews for her acting. This film was such a big flop that it did a below-average business and minted very less than its actual budget.

Even the Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor starrer Shaandaar was a disaster at the box office. Both the actors of this film were judged for their poor choice of roles and script.

When Alia was asked about what lessons did she learn from the failures, she said, “Anyone who goes on a journey that you have a lot of expectations from is going to feel a certain kind of disappointment. My learning through both of them has been very different. But the main thing I have learnt is that you have to keep your head down, work hard and give your best at everything you do. Sometimes you will go right and at times, you will go wrong.”

She further added that don’t get too attached to the successes or failures.

Those were very simple and wise lessons the young actress has learned and surely all the learnings will help her go further in her career and life as well.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. This film is slated to release on 11 September 2020.
