Rohit Shetty was adamant about his desire to create a cop crossover film that would see the union of his three larger-than-life heroes— the Singham starring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi, and Simmba featuring Ranveer Singh.

But sources inside the industry say that the director is keen to add more cop hero to the universe before rolling the magnum opus that will see his khaki heroes join forces to combat the evil powers.

Even as Sooryavanshi is looking for a new release date, buzz is that Shetty's writers ' team is at work, creating new cop characters to move forward the franchise.

The sources added, “After Sooryavanshi, Rohit will train his focus on the next edition of Golmaal. In the meanwhile, his team of writers has been asked to create cop avatars that will have different personality traits from those of Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi, and will hail from different parts of India, thus tackling diverse issues of the country.”

The source further said that Rohit Shetty has a few heroes in mind which he wants to add in the action franchise.

In Simmba, Rohit showed the crossover of Singham and Sooryavanshi, thus by introducing Akshay Kumar as the third cop of his action franchise. It is further believed that in Sooryvanshi, Rohit will introduce his next hero of the cop universe that will take the franchise forward.

Talking about Sooryavanshi, the film starring Akshay Kumar was all set to release on 24th March but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the film has delayed its release. The new release date of the movie is not been announced yet.
