May has been a rough month for film fans as they had to see two of their idols, Irrfan and Rishi Kapoor, leaving us in a matter of hours, once and for all. And though people still come to terms with that fact, it has been confirmed that there is no more Wajid Khan, of famous duo Sajid-Wajid.
With Salman Khan's Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya, Sajid and Wajid Khan entered into the industry and partnered with the superstar Salman Khan in several movies such as Hello Brother, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Tere Naam, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Garv, Partner, and Dabangg 3.
Wajid was admitted to Mumbai's Surana Hospital in Chembur just a few days ago, mainly due to kidney-related complications, according to Salim Merchant. He said, "He had multiple issues. He had a kidney issue and had a transplant a while ago. But recently he got to know about kidney infection... He was on the ventilator for the last four days, after his situation started getting worse. Kidney infection was the beginning and then he got critical.” reports NDTV.
After learning of his untimely demise, Wajid 's colleagues and fans were in a state of disbelief and took Twitter to grieve his death. Check out the warm-hearted messages below:
"Wajid, will always love, respect, remember and miss you as a person and your talent," tweeted actor Salman Khan after beloved composer Wajid Khan, who died early Monday hours. Wajid Khan was forty-two. "Love you and may your beautiful soul rest in peace," Salman added, grieving the loss of his long-time team member and friend, in his tweet.

I used to call him my brother from another mother. Be
Heartbroken. Both @SajidMusicKhan and @wajidkhan7 have been close & true friends. The kind who might see the light on and show up at our studio in the middle of the night just to meet and talk and share a laugh. Can't believe Wajid and I will never speak again.— VISHAL DADLANI (@VishalDadlani) May 31, 2020

Wajid Khan was a playback singer and sang songs like Soni De Nakhre, Do You Wanna Partner, Bang Bang Bang, Love Me, Taali, Mashallah, Baaki Sab First Class Hai and all the Salman Khan songs. The theme songs were also composed by Sajid-Wajid for two seasons of Salman Khan-hosted reality TV show Bigg Boss.
