Even if she is two films old, Sara Ali Khan has already become the sweetheart of the nation her cheerful and outspoken nature has won over people's hearts even before the release of her debut movie Kedarnath. And later, as she received great reviews for her work in both Kedarnath and Simmba, she also showed she can deliver on film. Yet father Saif Ali Khan earlier was indifferent about his daughter Sara's eventual career in Bollywood.

In an interview with a daily, he said "Why would she want that for herself? Look at where she studied. After having done that, why wouldn't she want to live and work in New York, rather than do this? I am not looking down on acting, it's just it is not the most stable profession. And everyone lives in constant fear. And there is no guarantee that despite doing your best, you will succeed. This is not the life, any parent would want for their children."
