Ayushmann Khurrana will be essaying the role of a cross-functional athlete in his next venture. The helmed by Abhishek Kapoor is pitched as a progressive love story. The untitled film is set in the backdrop of north India and its shooting schedule will kick-start in October.
Speaking of the film, director Abhishek Kapoor said, “Ayushmann and I are both known for a certain kind of cinema and this film is definitely a special one for both of us. We want audiences to come back to the theatres and watch movies as a community, and for that we will spare no effort. We strive to bring our best game for this one.”
The filmmaker asserted that he is going to present versatile actor Ayushmann Khurrana in a never-seen-before avatar. Abhishek Kapoor also mentioned that the actor is going through a physical transformation to ace the role of a cross-functional athlete with perfection. He further added that Ayushmann has never done it before but he is committed to it.
