India recently witnessed tragic news of a colonel of the Indian army, a major and two soldiers, along with a sub-inspector of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, being killed late on Saturday in a counter-terrorist operation in Kashmir. It was one of the deadliest security forces operations in Jammu and Kashmir that took place in the Kupwara district at Handwara which also resulted in the killing of two terrorists. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh paid tributes to the martyrs who lost their lives in the terrorist attack at Handwara.

Along with many prominent personalities of India even B-town celebs paid tribute to the martyrs and condemned such type of attack on security personnel in Handwara through their social media handles. Among them was Bollywood’s versatile actor Ayushmann Khurrana, he penned down and an emotional poem by himself to pay ode to the martyrs.

This poetic tribute from Ayushmann is truly heart touching and reminds us how selfless are those who pledge to serve the nation without caring about themselves or their family. The whole nation will never forget their sacrifice and fight against terrorism.

On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana was last seen in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan alongside Jitendra Kumar. The movie was a gay rom-com and the audience loved it.

Up next, Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo alongside Amitabh Bachchan. The film was slated to release on April 17, 2020, but the release date has been delayed amid the lockdown in the nation because of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
