Ananya Panday is currently busy with the promotion of her second film in Bollywood- Pati Patni Aur Woh starring Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar. Post this she will begin filming for Khaali Peeli opposite Ishaan and in her recent interview, she admitted that she was eagerly waiting to do an intense romantic film and director Maqbool Khan offered her Khaali Peeli.

Khaali Peeli tells the story of when a boy meets a girl, and while it is based in Mumbai the film promises a young, edgy roller-coaster ride. Ananya revealed that it is a lot of fun to work with Ishaan and also states that when he comes on sets, it like a storm has entered. How filming with Ishaan is different from filming with Tiger Shroff, she revealed that Tiger sleeps early and hence while filming for SOTY 2, there wasn’t any night shoot, but Khaali Peeli, the film is set in the night and hence it is challenging for Ananya to film at night.

Ananya also revealed how Khaali Peeli is different from the other two of her films, she said that in SOTY2 and Pati Patni Aur Woh her lingo is the same as she speaks in real life, while in Khaali Peeli she said, “my character Pooja has a Bambaiya lingo and this is actually the first film where I had to change the way I spoke.” Ananya also revealed how she feels very inhibited with the film. She said, "When you separate yourself from who you are as a person, you are less conscious. I am feeling very inhibited with the film, I am doing anything and getting away with it because I am not playing myself, I am playing a character. Pooja can do anything.”
