Akshay Kumar & R Balki Wrapped Up The Shoot In 3 Hours
Akshay Kumar and R Balki shot for a project for which the health ministry had approached them. The shooting was scheduled to take place on May 22 and 23 but was postponed to 25 when it happened, stated the sources. The shooting took place at Kamalistan studios in Mumbai.
As per the reports, R Balki's long time collaborator Anil Naidu said that the ministry had approached them for the project. After which a one and a half page script was prepared and permissions were asked for. Naidu revealed that, in just 3 hours, the team wrapped up the shoot and that's surprising.
A set normally has about 60 crew members, but there were just 20 of them on this one. As for Akshay Kumar, the actor himself drove to the sets and was in costume already accompanied just by his make-up man. Even the cinematographer of the film did the work with one assistant. R Balki didn't have any AD squad marching along with him.
As the viral videos revealed, there were disinfecting tunnels put up on the entry of the set. The shooting began at 7:00 AM and they wrapped up by 10:00 AM. Boom mics were used, instead of lapel mics, as a precaution. The footage is now being edited, and will soon be sent to the ministry. According to the report, there's less chance the team will have to dub the film in a studio.
