Akshay Kumar Donates 1000 Wrist Bands To The Mumbai Police To Detect COVID-19 Symptoms

Amid the on-going coronavirus pandemic, many prominent personalities of the nation have stepped forward to lend a helping hand to those adversely affected by it. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was the first one to make a donation of Rs. 25 crore to the PM CARES Fund. Not only that but the actor also doing his part by spreading awareness about the virus amongst his fans and followers.

A couple of days back, Akshay Kumar along with other Bollywood celebs participated in the #IForIndia concert. The fundraiser ended up collecting a donation amount of Rs. 52 crores for front liners.

Meanwhile, the superstar has extended his help towards the Mumbai Police who are working tirelessly to make sure that the lockdown rules are not violated. Being the brand ambassador of a leading health brand who recently announced a major breakthrough in early COVID-19 detection, Akshay Kumar has joined hands with them to provide help to the police.

The Good Newwz actor has donated 1000 wrist bands to the Mumbai Police to help them detect the symptoms of COVID-19. These watches through its wrist band with sensors detect the early symptoms of the COVID-19 infection.

Mumbai Police will be the first organization in the world enabled by the preventive health platform to remotely track and manage the health of its personnel and all thanks to Akshay Kumar for this.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be next seen in Sooryvanshi and Laxmmi Bomb. He also has films like Prithviraj, Bell Bottom, Bachchan Pandey, and Atrangi Re in his kitty as well.
