Arshi Khan Reacts To Controversy On Besharam Rang Song From Pathaan

Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone’s upcoming film Pathaan has garnered negative publicity ever since its song Besharam Rang was released. People have also called for its boycott as Deepika was seen giving sensuous poses in orange coloured bikini. People have also raised objections with the film’s title.

Bigg Boss fame Arshi Khan has shared her opinion on the ongoing controversy. She said during a media interaction, “Naming the film ‘Pathaan’ is not wrong. I am a Pathaan myself. I like the title and I am excited to see the film. Like Salman Khan Sir had a film titled ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. It had terms from both religions. I believe in all religions. I believe in Allah and I love Shiv Ji as well. So, these things don’t matter to me.”

People are calling it Besharam Rang song an insult to Hindu religion as Deepika wears orange (Bhawa) coloured bikini. Reacting to it, Arshi said, “But I don’t understand the politics behind the color. I have also worn the green and orange colored bikinis. Everyone wears it these days. It doesn’t relate to religion in any way.”

Besharam Rang is a sensuous song from Siddharth Anand’s directorial Pathaan. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham play pivotal roles in the upcoming action thriller film that will hit the theatres on Jan 25, 2023.
