According to latest reports by a leading digital entertainment portal, this thriller themed film is a hindi remake of the Belgian film titled The Loft which was released 7 years back in 2014. The Loft which has been directed by Erick Van Looy is an erotic themed thriller movie with a gripping and intriguing story about five married men who together own a penthouse where they go to meet their mistresses.

But the twist in the tale comes when they all discover a dead body in their Penthouse which ends up giving all of five of them a nightmare and by chilling their bones. The film goes on unfolding for audiences through the flashbacks, which itself is a remake of 20008 year’s dutch language film. The source also revealed to the digital entertainment portal, “The theme of The Loft is universal. Swinging-dick businessmen cheating on their wives translates to any culture. Abbas Mastan has adapted the Belgium film to the Indian context with a slight change in the plot twist to keep the mystery intact even for those who have seen the original”.

The film has been made in such a way that it would end up keeping audiences glued to their seats along with giving them an adrenaline rush of sorts and will pique their curiosity as well throughout and would be releasing on global streaming giant platform Netflix by mid 2021.

The source furthermore, also added, “It has been made as a typical Abbas-Mustan entertainer that keeps the audiences in the dark until the very end. The film is now in the post-production stage and will premiere on Netflix towards mid-this year”.

The duo’s last film Machine (2017) was a box office dud and flop film. But this movie also marks the reunion of Bobby Deol and Abbas Mastan after almost 14 years now.
