Arjun Kapoor Slams Host At Ek Villain Returns Trailer Launch

Arjun Kapoor gave a befitting reply to the host at Ek Villain Returns Trailer Launch event that indicated him as a rich spoilt brat

The trailer of Ek Villain Returns was launched and all the characters of the movie were unveiled. John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, and Disha Patani are roped in grey roles of the mystery thriller franchise. Arjun Kapoor appeared to be playing the role of a rich spoilt brat in Ek Villain Returns and when mentioned if that resemblems to his real-life character the actor gave a befitting response.

Arjun, who is known for his quirky replies and great touch of humor, didn’t stay quiet in answering the host in his style. The host mentioned, during the trailer launch of Ek Villain Returns, that Arjun’s character looked like that of a rich, spoilt brat. The Ishaqzaade debutant gave a smart reply when questioned if it resembles his real-life character.

First, he appreciated the director Mohit Suri saying: “Good casting yaar Mohit.” This left everyone confused. He then continued, “I would say mere baap dil se bahut ameer hai. Main jitna bhi bigadna chahoon, meri parvarish mujhe bigadne nahi deygi. But it is always fun to play what you are not and I would like to believe ki main utna bigda hua nahi hoon jitna Mohit ne mujhe cast kiya hai.” (I would say my father’s heart is wealthy. Because of that, even though I want to be a bad boy, I don’t think my upbringing would allow me to do so. But it is always fun to play what you are not and I would like to believe that I am not as villainous as what Mohit has portrayed me in the film.)

He further mentioned why he took the offer even if it means being a spoilt brat on screen. Arjun Kapoor cited that he loved the script of Ek Villain Returns and said there are some characters that suit you. Also, he revealed he wanted to be associated with a franchise like Ek Villain. “Shayad meri shakal pe there is enough rahisiyat and haramipan.” (Maybe my face has that aura of a rich and spoilt person, I don’t know), Arjun added.

The 2 states actor recently returned from a Paris vacation with her girlfriend Malaika Arora. He was last seen in Bhoot Police with Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam, and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Ek Villain Returns is a sequel of Ritesh Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra, and Shraddha Kapoor’s film titled Ek Villain. The second installment is directed by Mohit Suri and co-produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and T-Series.
