Arjun Kapoor has recently posted a picture holding a mangalsutra. With the first look at the picture, we got all excited thinking that marriage is on the cards. If you have been keeping up with Bollywood gossips, you would know that Arjun Kapoor is dating Malaika Arora for the last few years now. And them getting married wouldn’t be a surprise.
Well, Arjun’s picture with mangalsutra isn’t what your first thoughts would be. He, in fact, posted this picture for Malaika’s best friend Kareena Kapoor Khan. Arjun and Kareena had worked together in the film ‘Ki And Ka’.
As the film completes 5 years of its release, Arjun posted this picture and the mangalsutra was just a piece of souvenir from the film sets.
Arjun wrote in the caption, “A piece of memorabilia from ki & ka !!! Missing the set and missing the on screen Ki… this film was personal as I chose it for my mom and it’s now even more personal after working with Bebo and Balki sir… I think we need a sequel.. what say @kareenakapoorkhan?”
Ki and Ka was directed by R Balki and it showed Arjun and Kareena as a married couple going against the gender roles of Indian society. Arjun had said ‘yes’ to the film just by hearing the one line of the script, ‘that I want to become like my mother’.
