Ardh Trailer: Bigg Boss 14 fame Rubina Dilaik is all set to make her OTT debut with her upcoming film Ardh, co-starring Rajpal Yadav as a transgender. The film will release on June 10 on Zee5.
The trailer of Rubina Dilaik and actor Rajpal Yadav starrer Ardh has been released today, on May 18 by the makers of the film. The trailer of the family entertainer starts with the voice-over of Jackie Shroff, who introduces actor Rajpal Yadav as a small-town guy Shiva, who is walking down the streets wearing a saree and holding a lady’s handbag. The story showcases the dreams of a man who struggles to achieve his dreams in Mumbai despite his great acting and skills. Ans so to survive in the city and to earn money he pretends as a transgender while asking for money at local signals and trains in Mumbai.
The film also stars Hiten Tejwani and Kulbhushan Kharbanda in key roles. Produced under the banner of Pal Music and Films, the film is set to premiere on June 10, 2022, on India’s leading platform Zee5. the movie marks Rubina Dilaik’s debut in films and portrays Rajpal Yadav in a new avatar.
Ever since the trailer has been dropped Bigg Boss fame actress Rubina Dilaik has been trending all over the social media with her fans getting excited to see her debut on the OTT platform.
Rajpal Yadav said, “Ardh is the story of those people who struggle day and night to make their dreams come true. Shiva and Parvati represent those survivors. In our country, there are millions of such Shiva and Parvati who are fighting for their survival. So, this is their story, and I am honored to be telling it”.
Talking about her debut Rubina Dilaik said, “As my debut project, I am all prepared to soak in the experience and learning that will come along the journey. I have stepped in with a blank slate, and I feel secure to have started my new innings with a visionary like Palash and a talented co-star as Rajpal Sir”.
On the work front, Rajpal Yadav will also be seen in his upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, while actress Rubina Dilaik is soon going to be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 12.
