Bollywood actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently shared his first look from his upcoming film Haddi. In the shared picture the actor was seen dressed in a woman’s attire. While soon after the actor dropped his look many netizens were seen making comparisons of his looks with actress Archana Puran Singh. Reacting to the comparisons Archana said, “it’s a compliment”.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s New Look In Haddi
On Tuesday the Gangs of Wasseypur actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui unveiled his never seen look from his upcoming film. The actor will soon be seen in Akshat Ajay Sharma’s directorial, revenge drama film, Haddi. Sharing his look Nawazuddin wrote, “Crime has never looked this good before. #Haddi, a noir revenge drama starring @Nawazuddin._siddiqui in a never-seen-before avatar. Filming begins, releasing in 2023.”
What remained a highlight was when the netizens compared the actors’ new look with Archana Puran Singh. Reacting to the post a user wrote, “Ab pata chala ki ye dono kumbh me bichde bhai behen the… Siddhu ji ke ab do dushman”, “Archana Puran Singh ka sauteli behan. Tbh Nawaz sir is fabulous.”, another user wrote, “Ye Archana Puran Singh kya kar rahi hai idhar?”.
Archana Puran Singh Reacts To Comparisons With Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Look
Veteran actress, Archana Puran Singh reacted to the comparisons made by the netizens and told Hindustan Times in an interview, “It’s the hairstyle which has become synonymous with me that is causing all these comparisons. I’ve used this side-parted look during the early part of Kapil show (The Kapil Sharma Show.) When asked about the comparisons and how she feels about it, Archana added, “All I can say is it’s a huge compliment to be compared to Nawaz in ANY way possible.”
Archana Puran Singh Upcoming Projects
On the work front, actress Archana Puran Singh will be soon seen in the famous television comedy show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. The show will be relaunched on Sony television with another season this year.
