Aparshakti Khurana, Ishwak Singh’s First Look From Spy Thriller Berlin Unveiled, Check Out

Helmed by Atul Sabharwal, the spy thriller narrates the story of a sign language expert, who gets into a rivalry between intelligence agencies.

Last year, Zee Studios announced their new film Berlin, a spy thriller starring Aparshakti Khurana and Ishwak Singh of Paatal Lok and Rocket Boys fame.

Now more than a year later, makers have unveiled the first look of Ishwak Singh and Aparshakti Khurana’s characters. The first look shows Ishwak Singh in an intense never seen before avatar. Aparshakti Khurana, who is also known for playing boy next door characters is seen in a completely different look. Sporting a moustache, he looks like a serious man with a set goal. The poster also reveal’s actor Rahul Bose’s first look.

Ishwak Singh got his first big break in Amazon Prime’s original series Pataal Lok. The actor also received a lot of appreciation for his performance in biographical drama ‘Rocket Boys’ where he played the role of  Dr. Vikram Sarabhai.

Speaking about his character, Ishwak said “When an officer puts on his uniform in real life he feels empowered or a businessman puts on his suit before a meeting, it’s what gets them in a certain state of mind to go about doing their job. For me the look of any character is very important in that sense. I focus on the physicality and the psyche of the character a lot but what also adds to the X factor is the right look and in Berlin we have it on point. It’s one of the things I’m super excited about in the film”.

Berlin is written and directed by Atul Sabharwal of Netflix crime thriller Class of ’83 fame and narrates the story of a sign language expert, who gets into a rivalry between intelligence agencies. The film will be produced by Zee Studios, Sabharwal and Manav Shrivastav under Yippee Ki Yay Motion Pictures.
