Celebrity couple Anusha Sharma and Virat Kohli, who welcomed a baby girl in January 2021 have been very serious about not revealing her face to the world until she is ready to make her own decisions. Though the couple shares a few glimpses of her on their social media every now and then, they never reveal her face.
Anushka Sharma’s Daughter’s Pics Go Viral:
On Sunday, during a cricket match in South Africa, Cape Town, a camera person panned the camera towards Anushka and Vamika celebrating Virat’s on-field performance. It gave a clear view of Vamika’s face for the first time and since then, her pictures are all over the internet.
Anushka Sharma has today taken to her Instagram story to address the situation. She wrote, “Hi guys! We realise that our daughter’s image were captured at the stadium yesterday and widely shared thereafter. We want to inform everyone that we were caught off guard and didn’t know that the camera was on us. Our stance and request on the matter stays the same. we would really appreciate if Vamika’s images are not clicked/published for reasons we have explained earlier!”
Cricketer Virat Kohli also wrote the same on his social media profile.
Anushka and Virat had earlier said, “We seek privacy for our child and would like to do our best to give her a chance to live her life freely away from media and social media. As she is older, we cannot restrict her movement and hence your support is needed so kindly practice restraint in the matter.”
On January 11, the couple had celebrated Vamika’s first birthday in South Africa.
