Anushka Sharma Opens Up On Challenges While Working After Vamika’s Birth

Anushka Sharma is all set to make a smashing comeback after a long break from the shoots. She got candid about recommencing her work after childbirth.

Last year, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma gave birth to a girl child. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli became proud parents to a baby girl whom they named Vamika. Since then, the actress has been staying away from the shooting sets. She was on a prolonged break after becoming a mother. 

Now, the actress is all set to make a smashing comeback after a long break from the shoots. Anushka is busy with her shoots for the upcoming film ‘Chakda Xpress’. She got candid about re-commencing her work after childbirth.

During a tete-a-tete with a popular news portal, Anushka revealed why her upcoming film got postponed. The ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ actress revealed that she was going to start the shooting of the film long back but unfortunately, due to the pandemic, it got delayed. Also during the lockdown that she got pregnant, she could not shoot for the film. The actress also expressed her fear during the initial days of recommencing the shoot. She didn’t work for many months and was a little bit nervous.

She said, “When I finally began working on it, I was nervous because I had just had a baby so I wasn’t as strong as before. And I hadn’t trained for 18 months, so I wasn’t in the best physical condition—earlier, I would have pushed myself to do different exercises in the gym.”

 “I’ll always be open to doing projects that are interesting and content-forward,” she said.

Earlier this year, on social media the ‘Zero’ actress shared the teaser of the film ‘Chakda Xpress’. She also penned a heartfelt note with the post that won many hearts.
