Actor and model Gehana Vasisth was arrested in Feb 2021 in a pornography-related case. After spending five months in jail, she is currently out on bail. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police has arrested businessman Raj Kundra and has alleged that he is the key conspirator of an international porn racket.
Gehana has defended herself and Raj Kundra by denying all the allegations. She claims that the content made by them and uploaded on Hotshots App was erotic in nature. However, playback singer Anurag Maurya has exposed Gehana by objecting to her statements. Anurag closely worked with Gehana last year.
In an exclusive interview with Lehren, Anurag told, “In 2020, Gehana Vasisth contacted me and said that she heard my songs and liked them. She then offered me to make songs for her films and web series. When I asked for the details, she told me that the songs would be made for OTT projects. Gehana said that it would be of bold concept and quoted Ekta Kapoor’s Alt Balaji as an example. Then I watched a few videos of Alt Balaji and agreed to Gehana’s proposal.”
He added, “The briefings I used to get were similar to any other romantic song involving a couple in a romantic situation. I gave her around 6 songs for her films out of which 5 songs were released on YouTube.”
When asked if he wasn’t aware that his songs would be used on the Hotshots app, Anurag told that Gehana had told her but had not revealed the fact that it streams pornographic content. He said that Hotshots YouTube channel had lakhs of subscribers with a good reach amongst the audience.
“When they used to put the song on YouTube, there were no obscene visuals. And I didn’t have the HotShots subscription, so I never knew what and how they were putting my songs in their films or web series,” he added.

Anurag has slammed Gehana for claiming that her content is not porn. He says that he has received the links of porn sites and can easily identify that they are made by Hotshots digital as his songs are playing in the background with his name flashing in the credits for giving the music. Anurag says that he is not bothered about what content they are making, but he is upset about his songs and name being used in them.
He said that he gave songs for her films Chahat, Love Duo and Tharki Chotu. Anurag says that he didn’t know that these films were pornographic in nature and now when the case has hit the headlines, these films are available on porn sites and they have objectionable visuals which are more than just ‘erotic’. We asked if these films feature Gehana, Anurag informed us that she has not acted but has directed these films. “It mentions ‘Hotshots Original’ and ”Directed by Gehana Vasisht’,” he told.
When asked if he ever got in touch with Raj Kundra or his PA Umesh Kamat, Anurag told us that only Gehana would coordinate with him about everything. He also told that Gehana used to ask him not to tag her or Raj Kundra when he promoted his songs on social media. “I was a little suspicious but I had never thought that something like this was going on,” he said.
“I trusted Gehana and she betrayed me,” Anurag concluded.
