Anurag Kashyap On Why Entire Bollywood Is Silent On Sushant Singh Rajput’s Case

Anurag Kashyap reveals why Bollywood celebrities remained silent after Sushant Singh Rajput's demise and are now standing up for Rhea Chakraborty.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has revealed why the entire Bollywood industry remained silent in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case and is now coming out in support of Rhea Chakraborty. Anurag posted on Twitter, “Everybody baying for Rhea’s blood, asking questions like how did you know she didn’t do this or that to him? How do you know what was he going through? Are we forgetting that the whole industry has actually known and seen and interacted with SSR over last 9-10 years. Yes we know better.”

He further wrote, “And that is also the reason the whole industry has been quiet so far out of respect for him. And now it is that very knowledge of SSR that has again brought everyone out here together to stand in solidarity for Rhea because it’s gone too far. Republic doesn’t inform our opinion.”

He then also shared the screenshots of his chats with Sushant’s manager from May this year where he had expressed that he doesn’t want to work with Sushant because he is a very problematic man.

Anurag had said in an interview that Sushant was desparate to work with big banners. He told, “When outsiders come into the film industry, they seek validation from certain big banners like YRF, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions or Sanjay Leela Bhansali. That validation you are seeking, and one can’t blame you. It’s a choice you have made but you also have to deal with this.”

Celebrities like Vidya Balan, Shibani Dandekar, Anurag Kashyap and others have come out to demand justice for Rhea Chakraborty in this case.
