Anurag Kashyap EXPOSES Star Tantrums Thrown By Abhay Deol

Abhay Deol is believed to be one of the most uncelebrated actors in the Bollywood industry. Though he has worked in just a handful number of films, but his performance has been praised in almost each of them. Some of his films include Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Happy Bhaag Jayegi, Dev D, and Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! Abhay has been away from the big screen for quite a long time now. In a recent interview, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who worked with Abhay Deol in Dev D reveals the reason why he doesn’t get much work in the industry. He said that it was painfully difficult to work with him. He didn’t really have great working memories with him. And haven’t talked to him much since he finished shooting. Anurag said, “He would stay in a five-star hotel while the entire crew stayed in Paharganj for a film that was made on a very tight budget. Also the reason a lot of his directors went away from him. He wasn’t there to promote Dev D. He dissed the film and crew a lot. He was gone a long time. It was because of something he was grappling with emotionally and personally and never talked about. He also felt betrayed by me about which he has never spoken to me ever.” Well, even the Director of Manorama Six Feet Under, Navdeep Singh thinks the same who wants Abhay Deol to get over his pride and start working.
